End User License Agreement
Effective October 28, 2026
In short: you buy a license to use ErDock on the number of Macs you paid for. Activation is online and you can move it between Macs. Please don't share keys or redistribute the app. Market data is information, not investment advice. Your rights as a consumer under the law of your country are not affected.
This agreement is between you and [your full name or company name], [postal address] ("we"), for the ErDock software for macOS, its updates and its documentation ("ErDock"). By installing, activating or using ErDock you accept this agreement. If you do not accept it, do not use ErDock.
1. License
When you buy ErDock, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use ErDock on the number of Macs included in your purchase (for example, one Mac for a Personal license, up to three for Multi-Mac). The license does not expire. ErDock is licensed, not sold: we keep all rights not expressly granted to you.
2. License keys and activation
- Your license key is sent by email after purchase. ErDock activates it online for each Mac, and the number of active Macs cannot exceed what you bought.
- ErDock checks the activation with our licensing provider, Lemon Squeezy, about once a week, and keeps working offline for up to 30 days between checks.
- You can move a license to another Mac by deactivating it in ErDock (Settings → License) and activating it on the new Mac.
- A license that is refunded, charged back or obtained fraudulently can be disabled, and ErDock will then ask for a valid key.
- Keep your key private. Sharing or publishing a key is not allowed, and a shared key may be disabled.
3. What you may not do
Except where the law expressly allows it, you may not: copy ErDock beyond what the license allows; sell, rent, lend or redistribute it; remove or work around the license activation; or decompile, disassemble or reverse engineer it.
4. Updates
Your purchase includes free updates for the major version you bought (for example, every 1.x release for a version 1 license). We may offer later major versions as paid upgrades. We are not obliged to provide updates, but when we do they are covered by this agreement.
5. Third-party services and data
Some widgets show data from third-party services, such as MET Norway (weather), Finnhub (stocks, with your own API key), Crypto.com Exchange and CoinGecko (crypto), and Frankfurter (exchange rates). This data is provided by those services "as is", may be delayed, incomplete or unavailable, and your use of your own API keys is subject to the providers' own terms. Prices and market data shown in ErDock are for information only and are not investment, financial or trading advice. Features that work with Apple apps and services (such as Messages, Mail, Calendar, Reminders, Apple Intelligence and Maps) depend on those services being available on your Mac.
6. Privacy
How ErDock handles data is described in the Privacy Policy.
7. Refunds
Purchases are processed by Lemon Squeezy as merchant of record. [Your refund policy, for example: "If ErDock doesn't work for you, write to [email protected] within 14 days of purchase for a full refund."] If you are a consumer in the European Union, your statutory rights apply in addition to this policy.
8. Warranty
We build ErDock with care, but to the extent permitted by law it is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind beyond those the law requires, including any warranty that it will be error-free or uninterrupted. Nothing in this agreement limits the rights consumers have under mandatory law, including the legal guarantee of conformity in the European Union.
9. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for loss of data, profits or business, arising from the use of ErDock, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for it. These limits do not apply to liability that cannot be limited by law, such as for intent, gross negligence or personal injury.
10. Termination
This license ends automatically if you break this agreement. When it ends you must stop using ErDock and delete it. Sections 3, 5, 8, 9 and 11 continue to apply after it ends.
11. Governing law
This agreement is governed by the law of [Italy], without prejudice to the mandatory consumer protection rules of the country where you live. Disputes are subject to the competent courts under the applicable law; consumers can always bring a case in the courts of their country of residence.
